FENG SHUI BASICS | JUE MING DIRECTION

Jue Ming

What if there is a super easy way for everyone to incorporate Feng Shui into your daily lives? Even for those with little or no knowledge about Feng Shui? This very simple method is the 8 Mansions Facing Directions.

In this post, let’s unpack the potential outcomes and effects if you inadvertently set up your space to face your Jue Ming or Life Threatening direction.

More About The Jue Ming

Obviously, from the name itself, we want to try to avoid facing this direction. Because it causes challenges and forces you to keep having to power through breakthroughs. Facing this direction requires a lot of mental and emotional fortitude. Exhausting! Life is hard enough as it is, why make it harder for ourselves?

So if you happen to be reading this while in the office, first plot your own Bazi Chart to determine your personal directions, then whip out your mobile phone right now, and take a quick measure. If you find that you are facing your personal Jue Ming or Life Threatening direction, time to figure out how you can tweak.

Most people will feel the difference almost immediately when we switch the facing direction from Life Threatening to a more favourable direction.

But is it just problems in general? Or can we be a little more specific? We can!

Gua 1 (Southwest)

A Gua 1 individual, consistently facing their Jue Ming (means for long periods of time, like at your desk at work) – would typically face challenges related to or caused by, emotional distress or isolation.

Gua 2 and Gua 5 Men (North)

Gua 2’s Jue Ming direction is North. The problems will typically be associated with passivity or being overly dependent on others. Basically, you could be having problems because you could be constantly sitting there waiting to be told what to do. This is also the same effect for men who are Gua 5.

Gua 3 (West)

Action-oriented Gua 3 individuals, facing their Jue Ming will typically experience obstacles caused by their impulsiveness and recklessness. Because Gua 3 individuals tend to be fast action-takers, very active. Facing the Jue Ming, the mindset becomes, ‘Ahhh, don’t care, just do!’

Gua 4 (Northeast)

What happens when a Life Gua 4 individual faces their Jue Ming? In this case, the likely challenges will be indecision and lack of direction. Could even be the curse of too much knowledge. Know too much to the point that you cannot decide.

Gua 6 (South)

Life Gua 6 facing their Jue Ming will likely experience unnecessary challenges in their leadership. The effects of these 8 Mansions can be so subtle, that we may not even realize it. For the Life Gua 6, this direction can make a person a little power-crazy? So the problems happen because you or people around you keep going on ego trips.

Gua 7 (East)

Life Gua 7 facing their Jue Ming will likely experience challenges caused by creative blocks. These creative blocks causes instability in the form of self-doubt, can even cause problems with self-esteem.

Gua 8 and Gua 5 Women (Southeast)

Facing the Jue Ming direction imbues a rigid mindset. You could be experiencing obstalces because you find it difficult to adapt to changing conditions either in the workplace, the business world, or even changes within the family.

Gua 9 (Northwest)

Finally, Life Gua 9 facing their personal Jue Ming will likely face challenges caused by the impatience or excessive ambitions. In other words, over-reach. For example: trying to grow too big, too fast, resulting in problems.

Is There A Cure?

The remedy is to change the direction. But if you absolutely cannot, then awareness is the key. You need to be aware that these triggers are the cause of the problems you are likely to face.

But seriously, much easier to find a better facing direction. That’s the only ‘cure’ you need.
