Patient, compassionate and ever-so bountiful, the concept of Mother Nature or Mother Earth which represents the life-giving and nurturing aspects of nature is a common theme in all cultures. In the art of Chinese Metaphysics, this would be 9 Earth.
Before We Go Any Further, I Am Talking About Your Subconscious
For the benefit of those who may not have been exposed to QMDJ, allow me a couple of sentences to explain. Qi Men Dun Jia is the Art of War. It is a tool designed for strategy and tactics (forecasting and execution). However, there is a spiritual side to Qi Men Dun Jia which believes that we are, each of us, naturally connected to one of ten universal energies.
The ten QMDJ deities are basically ten different manifestations of the universal energy. They are neither demons nor angels. Like all energy forms, they are neutral. Think of your personal deity as your subconscious. It is yours to command. It doesn’t rule you.

The Gifts Of 9 Earth: Resources, Healing, and Protection
In the study of Qimen, the 9 Heavens represents future resources while the 9 Earth represents current and available resources. Most people born with the influence of the 9 Earth in their destiny palace will tend to exhibit the nurturing aspects of nature. A little passive, patient, self-sacrificing and resourceful, 9 Earth individuals are some of the kindest and most non-confrontational people around.
Wealth for a 9 Earth person is to be accumulated. You have very little appetite for risk, always craving for security and stability. Hence, your patience helps you to spin out long-term strategies that promotes steady growth as opposed to wild roller-coaster rides in the crypto or money markets. In this case, it is always better to focus on setting up multiple income streams that generate steady cash flow without requiring much daily intervention.
But one of the biggest strengths of the 9 Earth is rarely known to non-practitioners – like Mother Nature, you are endowed with strong self-healing capacities. Powerful 9 Earth individuals make some of the best healers especially those who work with alternative healing. Let me add a side note here: your patient and slow-yet-deliberate methods may not be ideal for healing careers that require instant decisions (example: surgeons). But as a care giver or someone who works long-term with patients, you would be superb.
But the medical field is not the only field for you, of course. The 9 Earth individual will find it hard to work for a corporation or in an industry that goes against your own beliefs. Therefore, any career that seeks to protect – be it people, the environment, or nature itself – will see you flying. Because you may find it hard to move for yourself, but the 9 Earth certainly will move in protection of others.
The Weaknesses of the 9 Earth: Everything In Its Time
The 9 Earth individual believes that everything happens in the right time. So why bother rushing about? 9 Earths are mainly thinkers, rarely doers. As we head into the craziness of the coming Period 9, this can be a disadvantage as you will miss out on opportunities that require a speedy response.
9 Earth individuals also tend to be rather passive. In a world where attention is the new currency, this passivity becomes a handicap. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. 9 Earth individuals typically find it hard to squeak. You pride yourself in not being a complainer or a whiner. But sometimes, a little strategic squeaking is required.
How To Awaken Your 9 Earth Powers?
Regardless of your religious affiliation, in your daily or weekly or monthly spiritual practice (such as prayers), tag on an additional wish at the end – wish to bless your family and friends with good health. This is how you can use the healing powers of the 9 Earth without being a part of the medical or wellness industry.
At the same time, you can also mentally cast a protective bubble around your home, keeping your loved ones living within that bubble safe and secure. Please DO NOT use any negative words when doing such manifestations.
Say: ‘I wish to bless my family with good health’
Don’t Say: ‘I wish my family will be free of illness’
Say: ‘Here is my protective bubble. Everyone who lives in it will always be safe and secure.’
Don’t Say: ‘I wish my protective bubble to keep everyone from harm’
Notice the difference between the two?

Did you know that Mother Theresa was a strong 9 Earth? Regardless of what has been said of her lately, there is no doubt that she has done a lot of good work.

The Guardian of Destiny in my chart is Earth. I’m quite surprised to read about the characteristics of that deity. It’s rather the other way round in my life. I’m not passive and it would be difficult for me to work in environments where the pace is too slow or when nothing is happening. But, I wouldn’t be able to work in companies or structures where the Politics go against my own beliefs, this is accurate. I see nature as being a teacher, a provider but above all, a teacher so I let nature teaches me what I don’t seem to grasp properly from life and I tend to stick to a certain aesthetics regarding life where Nature is in the center. But more at a metaphysical aspect than something that could turn into prayers. It doesn’t fit the way I see things or I relate to my environment. Since 2015, I work in the Well-being/Health industry as a coach. With time, I’ve developed my own approach but I wouldn’t be able to run a long-term follow-up practice or to accompany on a long-term individuals, reason why I’ve chosen a more dynamic position such as the one of the coach because the therapist one indulged into a process I do not really agree and believe in so it wouldn’t work with my energy. And I would say that all my life, I’ve been, in a way, requested to slow down in order to better integrate things and also to see certain events, things taking place in my life. Why? Because what I strongly feel with that 9 energy is the structure, having a solid foundation otherwise it cannot bear the weight. This has been my experience so far and before 2015, I was traveling a lot, lived overseas in different countries. What I try to say here is that that “passive and non confrontational” aspect of the Earth is not in my energy because I’m pretty confrontational but in the positive sense of the word. I guess that an energy can take multiple forms as it is something very subtle and depending on the way you’ve been raised and also, the experiences you’ve been through, that subconscious energy may be derived from its natural lane. Anyways, I just wanted to share how I felt that energy so that if certain readers have the Earth in their chart, they will see that it is not all about passivity and being slow 😉.
