May 2024’s Qimen Chart sees the energy starting to move again. A nice break from the seemingly endless stream of FuYin chart since the end of 2023.
HOW TO USE THE QIMEN FORECAST TOGETHER WITH THE BAZI FORECAST
The Qimen Chart, especially your Destiny Palace, represents the inner world or inner feeling of the person. The Month Bazi Chart represents a one-month external opportunity coming to you. To find a cogent strategy for the month, pick up the Qimen energy description for your Destiny Palace, and pair it with the Bazi 10 Day Masters strategy.
Here’s an example. Since it’s May, we’ll assume that the person’s Destiny Palace is in the Southeast. And the person is a Ji Earth Day Master (because the Day Master in the May 2024 Bazi Chart is Ji Earth).
First, we check the Southeast palace where you need to stand your ground and not become a dumping ground for others. Next, a quick check to the Bazi Forecast shows that the Ji Earth Day Master has the opportunity to enhance your reputation simply by bandying your certifications about.
With that, let’s start with the Qimen Analysis:
SOUTHEAST PALACE: BREAK THE PATTERN
Ren + Xin Flying Snake Awakens: Remember how in April you were asked to put up some boundaries before you get over-loaded with other people’s problems? Well, May is the consequence if you had not done so. Ren represents ongoing problems and hassles while the Xin represents the punishment. Feeling over-burdened, trapped, seething with resentment, feeling downtrodden.
Question: how much of this bullying are you willing to take before you seize the courage to stand up for yourself? The White Tiger and Destructor star are giving you the chance to break that doormat pattern once and for all.
Would there be a need to even have a strategy for this? Remember, no is a complete sentence.
On the other hand, you could also turn May 2024 into a problem-solving month. Again, relying on the surge of energy from the White Tiger, we can also use the Destructor star to systematically put an end to all the current obstacles in hand. But do remember, no shortcuts please.
SOUTH PALACE: OBSERVE THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU
Xin + Bing Stem Combine Rebelling Officer: You could be looking for support in all the wrong places. Who we surround ourselves with matters. Surround ourselves with people who are supportive, we find our goals within reach. Surround ourselves with takers and toxic people, and we sink into the mire of mediocrity.
With the Death Door and Assistant star, it’s time to take a big picture look at the people surrounding you. Are they aligned to your goals? Are they inspiring and challenging you? Or are they just draining you?
Along with the 6 Harmony Star and the Death Door, May is the time to evaluate the value of these relationships and ensure that you are spending time with the right people. Let go of the negative relationships. Free yourself, and focus on what really matters.
SOUTHWEST PALACE: THE MASKS WE WEAR
Bing + Gui Moon Noble Entering Earth Net and Bing + Geng Shimmering Enters Great White: Everything seems rosy and hunky-dory on the surface, but you may be experiencing feelings of fear, doubt, depression or inadequacy this month.
We all wear masks to disguise our emotions. But sometimes, these masks can do more harm than good. In this case, with the Great Moon and the Hero star, it seems like a lot of your energy is being consumed in projecting a calm or over-achieving mask.
Should you have the luxury to do so, put some effort in May to create a safe space where that mask can come off for a while. If need be, find someone impartial, like a therapist, some you can trust, where you are able to find the relief in removing the mask and show the vulnerability inside.
WEST PALACE: REACH OUT FOR HELP
Gui + Wu Heavenly Yi Combine and Geng + Wu Sitting Palace Structure: Opportunities are opening up but you are not ready to say yes. Or you simply think that the opportunities are too big for you.
Don’t be shy to reach out for help, but with the Surging Snake, note that assistance will be transactional in nature. Can’t always get something for nothing!
NORTHWEST PALACE: GO IT ALONE
Wu + Ji Nobleman Enters Prison: Stop waiting for others to come to your rescue. They’re busy elsewhere. Nobody ‘owes’ us any assistance. Do as much as you can on your own. It’s better than sitting around waiting.
With the double Emptiness in the Northwest, help may not be forthcoming. However, with the Sky Horse, you might surprise yourself if you decide to go it alone.
NORTH PALACE: COMPLETE WHAT YOU’VE STARTED
Ji + Ding Red Phoenix Enters Grave: Jumping from one incomplete task to another will not do you any favours. This month, you really must distinguish between what is urgent and what is important. Putting out fires daily just makes you tired, not productive.
Manage your time well. After all, our time is one of our most precious resources!
NORTHEAST PALACE: INVEST IN MARKETING
Ding + Yi Heavenly Flourish Formation: May would be a good timing to launch something. Whether you know it or not, you have the resources (9 Earth) as well as the support from the Heavenly Flourish Formation. The Harm door is also supportive of pro-active action.
Certainly, with the Grass star, there is some indication of wealth leak. You can flip that into the positive by investing into some marketing campaigns.
EAST PALACE: BEWARE THE FALSE GOALS
Yi + Ren Day Noble Enters Earth: You may be wasting time by pursuing false goals or building something on false foundations. Be extra careful about investments. Make sure to make time for due diligence and question your own decision-making process. All that glitters may not be gold.
