It can be a motivator. And if you had spent June’s energy to mould yourself into a stronger player, does the Rob Wealth really scare you?
BUSINESS: STUDY YOUR COMPETITORS
A month where your Rob Wealth weakens your Direct Resource may see you spending unnecessary money to outshine your competitors. But some competitors cannot be outshone. And in any facet of life, competitors will always be there. This is especially true in business. If you are in a business where there are no competitors, chances are, it’s not a great business to begin with (because no one else is interested).
Instead of spending crazy money trying to outspend others, why not engage your Direct Resource to study your competitors? After all, the Rob Wealth is now on the Heavenly Stems. Their activities are now visible to you. You could methodically study their products or offerings (Direct Wealth), and even their business model or business systems (Direct Officer).
This information will come in useful in August, when your Eating God comes into play. But more of that when the time comes.
CAREER AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: GET INVOLVED IN THE TRENCHES
A Rob Wealth month easily creates feelings of jealousy and comparison. But spending a month consumed by envy is not very productive. Instead, let’s use the positive side of the Rob Wealth – the more motivating side.
The July 2024’s Xin Wei month brings you the opportunity to enhance your leadership skill and lead by example. To do this, you could:
- Direct Wealth: Roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team. Too many managers ‘say’, but they don’t ‘do’. It’s hard to understand the obstacles your team are facing if you don’t get your hands dirty once in a while.
- Direct Officer: Maintain clarity and morale by upholding the existing organizational hierarchy. If you don’t like the feeling of being bypassed, others wouldn’t either.
- Direct Resource: Encourage a learning culture for yourself and your staff.
- Rob Wealth: Think collaboration, not competition. Motivate others, through your own example, to work together as a team.
