When I look at the September 2024’s Bazi Chart, a mental picture of a savannah oasis comes to mind. It’s a deep watering hole visited by many different types of animals. Some may be predators, others may be prey. It tells a story of shared resources, cooperation and of course, conflict.
- We see a weak Jia Wood Day Master sharing a much-needed pool of resource between them.
- The pool is deep, no danger of running dry as it is rooted in the Dragon (Year), supported by the Xin Metal Direct Officer, and further strengthened by the Rooster-Dragon Metal Combination.
- But when different species of animals congregate together around an oasis, there might be moments of tension and unmet expectations as evidenced by the Rooster-Dog Harm relationship. These are normal emotional triggers that are bound to happen when we take from a shared resource.
- And then the feelings of unmet expectations take hold, that’s when trouble happens. See the Dog-Dragon clash?
- Instigators and provocateurs may take advantage of this situation to stir up trouble. The Dog (Day) and Horse (Hour) creates a half-combination.
GLOBAL OUTLOOK
In terms of a global outlook, after the emotional turmoil of August, the governments had decided to make more resources available to the people, in the hopes of quenching their dissatisfaction and stabilizing the situation. But of course, resources can never be equally distributed. (What trickle down effect?) So naturally, some will receive more than others. This inequality will potentially fuel a rejection of the opportunities, stirred up by provocateurs and instigators. The external part of the Chart combines to form Metal. The internal part of the Chart combines to form Fire. The clash between Fire and Metal is rebellious by nature. A rebellion against authority or the norms. Therefore, the troubles astir are not over yet.
PSYCHOLOGICAL OUTLOOK
From a psychological point of view, people are dipping into a well of normalcy, norms, ritual and routine to regain a sense of structure and predictability. Just as how animals have specific times or seasons for visiting the oasis. But the Rooster-Dog Harm can create a feeling of receiving less than your fair share. And so, angered by the apparent unfairness of it all, you decide to ‘check out’ of the race.
ORGANIZATIONAL OUTLOOK
If we were to view this Chart as an organization, the Year pillar represents the CEO and board level, the Month pillar represents the senior management (where the VPs are), the Day pillar represents middle management, while the Hour pillar represents the staff. So if we were to tell the story of this Chart from an organizational perspective, we see the CEO, board level, and senior management working together to create new resources. But the new resources are not available to everyone, causing dissatisfaction amongst the middle managers. Instigated by external parties or perhaps even the union workers, the middle managers are rebelling against the top level leaders.
ADAPTATION AND SURVIVAL
In conclusion, the September 2024 Bazi Chart is a lesson in adaptation and survival. The ones who can adapt quickest to the changing norms will benefit best.

To elaborate on the Auxiliary Stars, I will use the example from the Organizational outlook segment of this post.
The CEO level and upper management are faced with an onslaught of mudslinging (Flying Blade) and quarrels (Year Sha). To stabilize the situation (Grand Duke Combination), the board of directors decided to spend some small money (Lesser Consumer) by offering some form of incentives. They are hoping that these incentives will serve to dispel some of the negative feelings within the organization (Earth Relief and Month Virtue).
Unfortunately, their outlook is short-term (Salty Pool) and populist (Peach Blossom) by nature. The incentives offered has not addressed the past grievances (Cascading Cloud), and then they behave all ‘shocked Pikachu’ when their offer creates more grumbles (Death Charm).
From a personal and psychological point of view, we see efforts out there to stabilize the entire situation, but we feel that we are not benefitting from these actions. As a result, there is a resistance to take up the new offers perhaps because the new resources are not addressed for our needs.
ANIMAL SIGNS AFFECTED BY THE GUI YOU
The events of the month will more likely affect you if you have the following animal signs in your Natal Bazi Chart or in your current Luck Pillar.
The Dragon
This could be the month where you can potentially meet up with advisors or noble people who can help you stabilize the growth you have been aiming for in your Grand Duke year.
The Snake
There are still potential collaborations and partnerships in the offing, but you need to act fast and follow-up conscientiously. Otherwise, there could be a risk of your projects landing on to other people’s laps after you have done all the hard work.

Expect feelings of restlessness as you gear up for your clash month in October. This could be a good time to dive inwards to address some of your own emotional obstacles. Alternatively, dispel those restlessness by opening yourself up to new experiences.
The Rat
The hidden tensions within the September 2024 Bazi Chart could potentially elevate you to a stronger position, if you have the courage and resilience to say yes to the new opportunities.
