In creating this new series, I’ve endeavoured to shift your perspectives of the positive and negative stars. They are neither promises nor guarantees. Instead, these are tools given to you for 2023, and it’s up to you to choose which one works better for you. The results become more obvious when we match our actions to the effects.
And when we learn to use these stars, that is when life happens for you, instead of happening to you.
Therefore, this post will include descriptions of the effects of the stars, followed by some ideas (or suggestions, if you will), on how the stars can be used. Please note that critical thinking is required on your part. Because without looking at the full information from your unique Bazi Chart, the ideas cannot be customized and must be kept as broad as possible.
THE TIGER IN 2023
In 2022, taking pride of place, of course, is your role as the Grand Duke! Did you find the opportunity to step up? Did the year bring a lot of exciting challenges? Has there been growth?
SURPASSING PATH AND GOLDEN CARRIAGE
If you had stepped up and accepted the leadership role, this will put you in good position to benefit from the positive stars in the Tiger for 2023. Therefore, in 2023 for the Tiger, delegating is imperative! You need to make room in your schedule for relationship-building, space to explore new possibilities, and the very likelihood of more responsibilities. The Death God, as scary as its name may sound, signifies a heavy workload.
Which is a given in any workplace! The more competent you are, the more responsibilities you shoulder. Isn’t it?
BATH AND CASCADING CLOUD
However, as indicated by the Bath star, this heavy workload may be self-inflicted. This star indicates feelings of insecurity or helplessness. In other words, you may find yourself taking on responsibilities because you feel like you don’t have a choice. Example, company has downsized and to keep your job, you feel like you have no choice but to take on extra responsibilities.
When this happens, resentment starts brewing. That’s the message from the Cascading Cloud – passive-aggressive behaviour. Therefore, for those with the Tiger in your Bazi Chart, please prioritize time for rest and self-care.
SICKNESS CHARM
What happens when you have such a heavy workload that you end up working long hours? Couple that with the feelings of helplessness from the Bath, and the resentment of the Cascading Cloud, there is a danger that you may work yourself sick. The Sickness Charm is an illness star. Very likely, this would be stress-related illnesses.

How about the Business Owners? This is a good chance to turn your clients into fans. To give such good value, that your customers bring you further opportunities to collaborate. This is best for those in the B2B type of businesses.
Start off by providing a service, which then leads to a long-term contract maybe? And then as the relationship deepens, opportunity to work together? Or your clients recommend you to others!
To create this type of relationship, you need to invest time into building that ‘bond’. Here’s a very common scenario in businesses that are very technical or knowledge-specific. When a top sales person leaves, the clients… follow!
Therefore, as a business owner, don’t get so caught up with the delivery of service that you neglect to cultivate a relationship with your clients!

YEAR PILLAR
Using the positive stars in the Tiger is easiest if you have the Tiger in your Year Pillar. Out there, in your industry, social network, friends, acquaintances, the world at large… are people who are working very, very hard. Overworked people, in fact!
Your job, is to get out there, and see if the service you offer can help them take the load off. These stars are especially good for those in the done-for-you type of industries.
What if you are a career professional? This could be the start of your side gig?
MONTH PILLAR
If the Tiger governs your Month pillar which represents career and business, all the more reasons to delegate and make time for relationship-building. Within the existing relationships connected to your business or career, there are wealth opportunities.

DAY PILLAR
If, however, the Tiger governs your day pillar which represents yourself, your spouse and close personal relationships, please prioritize self care.

Tiger in the Hour will govern your children, your staff, investments, ideas, ideals, and ambitions.
For the parents among usare you being a Tiger Mom/Dad? Are you pushing your kids to excel as opposed to encouraging growth?
