After the excitement and frenetic burst of activity during Chinese New Year, March 2024’s Ding Mao (丁卯) month arrives to remind us it’s time to get back to the grind. Yup, the tedium of our daily routines and the daily humdrum of life.

MARCH 2024 BAZI CHART
Let’s delve into the month’s energy with a glance at the Bazi Chart for March 2024.
At first glance, this is a very dry chart, with a self-punishment between the two Dragons and a harm with the Rabbit month. Self-punishments typically denote self-created problems while the Harm relationship in a Bazi hints at unrealistic or unmet expectations. In other words, complaints. Want to take this to a bigger scale? Visually, in the hands of the Wu Earth Day Master, the Ding Mao is seen as a beacon fire high on top of a mountain. Referring to the March 2024 month chart, how about using the Ding Mao’s energy to illuminate the path for others to break away from learned helplessness?

The Hurting Officer energy is all about performance, so there’s an element of ‘showing off’ going on here. Put the two together, and the end result is some small expenses going out because of the desire to ‘show off’.
But then again, what’s wrong with a little bit of crowing? Like seriously! If you are in the financial position to do so, why not?

For the Bing Fire Day Master, keeping an eye on your budget is a must when your Rob Wealth arrives on the Heavenly Stem. With the Direct Resource producing your Rob Wealth, there is a potential where you need to use your existing resources to create growth for the future. If you are using this to invest, then it’s great! But if it’s spending on expenses instead of investment, perhaps not so great.
Is there a good way to use the month’s Rob Wealth energy? This idea may not be applicable for all industries, but a mini train-the-trainer campaign could be helpful to expand your community, tribe or followers. Which means, that we can use training to create our own spokespersons who will then spread the word for us.
From a career perspective, this is also a good month to train your staff or your team. Basically, to update or upgrade their knowledge.
DING FIRE DAY MASTER: FRIEND ON INDIRECT RESOURCE
The suggested strategies for the first nine Day Masters have been external-focused. Not so for the Ding Fire Day Master. To explain, I need to refer to the energies of 2023 – the year of the Water Rabbit (Gui Mao). Water raining on the Ding Fire may result in a dampening of your passions. Somehow, in 2023, vitality was perhaps, a little lacking.
The passion and fire sparks again in March 2024. With the coming of the Wood energy in the Rabbit, the fire blooms anew, and it’s time to turn inwards to appreciate your own uniqueness, individuality and authenticity. It’s a time to celebrate, appreciate, and embrace your (many) quirks, talents and idiosyncrasies. And as you do, allow yourself to feel more vital and energized for the year ahead.
