2023 Ding Fire

2023 is set to be an exciting year for the Ding Fire Day Master. Now, in traditional Bazi readings, they don’t like the 7 Killings star. But like it or no, the year is here, and we might as well see what we can get out of it. If you’ve found yourself agreeing with my opening sentence, read on!

The 2023 Year of the Water Rabbit infuses each of our Bazi Charts with different types of energy. Its arrival, amps up or strengthens different parts of our charts. And from there, we can add another layer of strategy to make 2023 a success.

To make this easily applicable, I will share this in the form of keywords. At this juncture, you might ask, what if I don’t intend to follow these strategies? What if I don’t find these keywords applicable to my situation?

The answer: nothing! These keywords represent the broader energies brought to you by the Gui Mao. To use it or not, is your choice!

2023 Ding Fire

For the Ding Fire Day Master, the Water Rabbit or Gui Mao, presents as 7 Killings sitting on Indirect Resource.

As mentioned earlier, traditional Bazi reading does not like the 7 Killings. Because this is the element that directly ‘attacks’ the Day Master, traditional interpretations sees is as a star that brings trouble or problems. On the surface, that may be true but what the arrival of the 7 Killings star does is that it amps up our own fighting instincts and makes the Day Master feel a little more reckless than usual. Suddenly, the pussy cat has turned into a tiger!

As mentioned, the 7 Killings revs up our fighting spirit. It is a star of outward expansion! Therefore, the keywords for the 7 Killings are: COURAGE, TAMPER and STAY AHEAD.

Because the 7 Killings revs up our fighting spirit, the key words for 7 Killings are: COURAGE, TAMPER and STAY AHEAD. Why Stay Ahead? The 7 Killings is a star of outward expansion! It brings the courage to push the boundaries of your comfort zone.

  • From a business or career perspective, Indirect Resource represents Trends. To make the 2023 year of the Water Rabbit work for the Ding Fire Day Master, please make sure that you stay up to date on industry trends and developments. This will help you stay ahead of the curve and anticipate changes in the market.
  • Next, the Indirect Resource star can also represent Intuition. From a pictorial point of view, the Ding Fire’s 7 Killings is a Gui Water. Ding Fire is seen as a candle, Gui Water is seen as rain. When this happens, it may feel sometimes, like someone is raining on your parade. Therefore, 2023 is a good year for the Ding Fire to learn how to tamper your instinctive reactions or reflex to provocation.
  • Ironically, because your reflex is being amped up, it makes this a good year to focus on some fitness, stamina or strength training.
  • The Indirect Resource star can represent Experience. Therefore, for the Ding Fire Day Master, the 2023 Water Rabbit year is a good year to gain new experiences. Get out of your comfort zone a little, push the boundaries a little, it’s a good year to get your feet wet and have some skin in the game. Why not, try something new every day!

I like this final suggestion for the Ding Fire. Because it aligns with the Ding Fire Day Master’s natural love of lighting little fires everywhere. A common trait among Ding Fire Day Masters is a love to try new things, a love of initiating new projects. Well then…
