2023 CHINESE ZODIAC: HORSE

If you have the Horse in your Bazi Chart, 2023 could be the year to unleash your inner entrepreneur and play the role of the disruptor.

These days, we seem to use the term ‘entrepreneur’ and ‘business owner’ synonymously. But there’s a distinctive line between the two. People who bring their unique ideas to run a startup company are known as entrepreneurs. Business owners, on the other hand, start a business on an existing concept or idea. Business owners make their place in the market with their efforts and dedication, whereas entrepreneurs creates the market for their own business.

And for those of you with the Horse in your Bazi Charts, this may be the year you make the leap between the two!

ABOUT THE 2023 CHINESE ZODIAC SERIES

In creating this new series, I’ve endeavoured to shift your perspectives of the positive and negative stars. They are neither promises nor guarantees. Instead, these are tools given to you for 2023, and it’s up to you to choose which one works better for you. The results become more obvious when we match our actions to the effects.

And when we learn to use these stars, that is when life happens for you, instead of happening to you.

Therefore, this post will include descriptions of the effects of the stars, followed by some ideas (or suggestions, if you will), on how the stars can be used. Please note that critical thinking is required on your part. Because without looking at the full information from your unique Bazi Chart, the ideas cannot be customized and must be kept as broad as possible.

HORSE: 2022 RECAP

Your three top stars in 2022 were the General Star, Golden Lock, and Three Stages. These three, when acting together, gives you access to the movers, shakers and decision-makers.

However, having access is one thing. Building a mutually-beneficial relationship with these movers, shakers, and decision-makers are a whole different ballgame. This is where the energies of 2023 come into play.

THE HORSE IN 2023

SKY HAPPINESS

At the most basic level, the Sky Happiness represents the existence of happy events. In the ancient days, these usually refer to landmark life events such as weddings, birth of children, those type of stuff. Today, the Sky Happiness points to the opportunities to be a part of parties and celebrations. But… we’re talking about using the stars, right?

So how about… instead of sitting home and waiting for invitations, with the Sky Happiness in your chart, why don’t we be the ones to organize the event and bring people together? This is what the Sky Happiness is great for – bringing people together in a joyful and harmonious environment. So remember all those new contacts that 2022 brought you? Why not create mini events to bring them together so that you can have the opportunity to nurture your relationship with them in a less stressful environment? That’s an idea!

MOON

Who we hang out with can literally change our outlook. If we spend time with these entrepreneurs, leaders and decision-makers, inevitably, this will give us the chance to develop our own ideas. This is where the Moon comes in. Apart from being a traditional nobleman star, the Moon has a specific benefit – it is the star of entrepreneurial ideas.

So now, we have both a network as well as the seed of a business idea. And by the way, it has been forecasted that come 2023, even more people will start their side gigs. This may be particularly so for the Horse because…

PIERCING ROPE

As I write this, economic pressure is mounting everywhere. With inflation going through the roof, the economy shrinking, many businesses will be looking for ways to tighten their belts and maybe even downsize. This is what the Piercing Rope represents – fear and insecurity brought on by external pressures. These could be political, economical, or social, or a myriad of other external factors.

HOOK SPIRIT AND GREAT ASSEMBLY

Triggered by the fear and insecurity, the next two negative stars are the ones to pay attention to. The Hook Spirit represents the unresolved problems from the past. It’s a little like an unclosed chapter begging for closure. The Great Assembly is like an endless infinity loop, like a broken gramophone. When these two come together, the influence they create is the tendency to play out negative memories, or project past failures… on a loop.

REST GOD

So, there is opportunity; and there is pressure. Your job, with the Rest God, is to keep physically and mentally fit. The Rest God acts by enhancing our physical and mental well-being. But it needs a little nudge. It doesn’t work on its own. Note that they didn’t call this the Lazy God? Using the Rest God requires the corresponding effort to keep ourselves in good shape. So go to the gym; prioritize taking walks in the morning; or maybe martial arts is your thing? Anything, really, that keeps you trim and fit!

Why is this so important? Ever noticed that all successful people have one thing in common? High energy levels! They don’t walk around sighing and moaning? They’re too busy. Once we manage to dial up our own physical energy, we will automatically sound more convincing when we talk, our minds become more agile, better focused, and we are able to accomplish more in a single day. In other words, maintaining our physical energy makes us better and more convincing leaders.

HEAVENLY OFFICER

Which takes us to the Heavenly Officer which represents the ability to garner support for your leadership skills. This nobleman star can be used in many different ways. For employees, it can bring promotion luck. It’s also good for academics, by the way. For business owners, this can mean a good reputation. Now, a good reputation by itself, may not be so useful? However, the Heavenly Officer means more than that. It means that our customers or our business partners become our noble people by putting their trust in us, and following our lead.

At the beginning of this post, I made a clear distinction between a business owner and an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs creates their own markets. Think of disruptor businesses like Uber or AirBnB. When they came up with that idea, it was revolutionary. They needed the trust from their customers (both drivers and users) to adapt to this new way of doing business.

So yes, Heavenly Officer can represent customers – customers who are willing to follow your lead. But to benefit from this star, you must always remember that we owe it to them to always give them our very best.

HORSE 2023: IN A NUTSHELL

Now when we put ALL these stars together, it tells a story. It says that, in the face of a volatile economy (Piercing Rope), the ones who spot the opportunities (Moon) and has the resources in the form of networks (Sky Happiness), could potentially overcome the self-limiting mindset (Hook Spirit and Great Assembly). It also says that we can differentiate ourselves by the energy we radiate (Rest God)

Because the end goal for 2023, is to gain support for your leadership. To have people follow you. Customers who are your Heavenly Officers.

Where is all these positioning heading to? To 2024 where you should be in place to solve a problem of a higher value.

WHERE IS YOUR HORSE?

YEAR PILLAR

If you have the Horse in your Year which governs your social networks, industry, contacts, social media followers, acquaintances and not-so-close friends. In this case, the most likely scenario is that from your perspective, the industry is vulnerable to volatile economic conditions or even downturn. Alternatively, the people you know are, most of them, feeling pressured by the external environment.

Could you then, instead of waiting for invitations from the Sky Happiness, create regular small gatherings that bring diverse people together to talk, exchange ideas, maybe even explore working together? These could even be fund-raising events. If you are a Fire Day Master (either Bing or Ding), I would certainly at least explore this idea.

The Heavenly Officer is not technically an investment star. But, from the perspective of a business looking for seed money, aren’t investors noble people too? Noble people who are willing to buy into our ideas?

MONTH PILLAR

If the Horse governs your Month, it could be that your own business or the organization you work for is feeling the pressure of a volatile and unpredictable economy.

Let’s talk about career professionals first. In this case, you would be hesitant to leave the security of a full time career for the uncertainties of the business world, wouldn’t you? However, the Moon star has already given you an idea that you would like to pursue. With the Heavenly Officer, this could be a good time to get your research and business plan together, and present it to your boss. Ask him or her to invest in your idea and let you work on it in exchange for equity in the new business. Now, suddenly, you go from being just an employee, to having a stake in your boss’s business. That’s what they mean when they say intrapreneur.

Alternatively, be the one who leads change in your organization. Textbook interpretation of the intrapreneur: a manager within a company who promotes innovative product development and marketing.

What about Business Owners with the Horse in your Month? If your business is reliant on equipment, here, please take note of the Great Assembly. While there may be a need to cut down on unnecessary spending, maintenance must be top priority because the Great Assembly’s literal definition is a warning of equipment failure. No skimping on equipment maintenance if you have the Horse in your month pillar. Because equipment breakdown will cost you more in lost business than any amount of maintenance.

DAY PILLAR

What if the Horse falls in your day? If you are in a committed relationship, your personal relationships or spouse might be feeling the economic pressure and thereby, causing stress within the relationship. What sort of stress? Most likely, there may be more instances of arguments caused by old grievances triggered by monetary issues.

However, with the Sky Happiness also comes the opportunity to create new happy memories in your relationship.

HOUR PILLAR

If you have the Horse in your Hour, let’s start with the Business Owners or Corporate Managers first. These 3 negative stars can represent Quiet Quitting or even Malicious Compliance. Your employees have checked out. Only skating by, putting in the hours, working like robots. However, with these positive stars, there’s a chance to turn things around. This could be a good opportunity for you to make some changes within your organizational culture. A great opportunity, in fact, to convert ‘mere employees’ into a fighting team with an entrepreneurial mindset. Train your staff to have entrepreneurial mindset by using the Sky Happiness to create team bonding events.

In terms of investments, these stars may represent opportunities to pick up some new investments or even new businesses for cheap.

On a personal level, pay attention to sudden ideas or casual suggestions that suddenly pop up in your head.

For business owners, here’s a simple 3-step checklist to use all the stars in the Horse for your business development efforts in 2023:

Stay current on business and consumer trends. Period 9 is almost upon us, and the ability to leverage on attention will be pivotal to most businesses.
Stay lean and competitive. Make sure to stay on top of your business maintenance. Nothing is more expensive than loss of business due to equipment breakdown.
Improve your customer experience. Turn customers into Heavenly Officers by giving them an unforgettable experience. So unforgettable, in fact, that they become your influencers.

If you have the Snake in your Bazi Chart, come 2023, it’s time to take your previous year’s accomplishment to the next level and stretch that influence as far as it can go.

SNAKE: 2022 RECAP

The Snake enjoyed a variety of nobleman stars in 2022. Noblemen in all shapes and sizes, in fact! Did you find them? Or better yet, were you a nobleman to others in 2022?

You also had the Moon star which, in addition to being a nobleman star, is also a star of entrepreneurial ideas. Did you act on those ideas? Because if you did, this is also your year to take that core idea and stretch its influence as far as it can go!

Why do I say that? Let’s first explore the opportunities available to you in 2023.

THE SNAKE IN 2023

SKY HORSE

The Sky Horse represents the opportunity to spread your wings! Perhaps break into a new market which could either be geographic, demographic, or even psychographics in nature.

What if your goals are related to your passions? Again, this can help. It represents an opportunity to meet with people who share your passions but again, are part of a different spectrum of the social strata.

To use the Sky Horse, you need to either travel, change your routines, or establish a presence on social media.

SKY GRACIOUS

The more you open up to new changes, the more you grow and learn – inadvertently, activating the Sky Gracious nobleman star which is a star of likeability and intelligence. The Snake had this last year, it’s sticking around for one more year.

SKY FORTUNE

As you grow from strength to strength, your reputation grows along with it, which is the gift of the Sky Fortune. When we put all three together, yes, this is a year to build a name for yourself, to stretch your influence to further your goals. This could be in the form of your career, or business, or even as a person!

Let me hang an easy example on these opportunities. Imagine yourself in the hand-woven shoes of a merchant in ancient China (complete with a scraggly beard and long flowing robes). When they see the Sky Horse, the merchant knows it’s time to pack up a wagon and head over to the next village, or the next town – to sell his goods.

There’s the Sky Gracious – people in the next town were receptive of his goods. And now, he and his products are known in both his home town and the next one. So far… our Mr. Merchant is a happy puppy.

But are there any potential threats? Yes, there are…

BROKEN STAR, SEPARATING EDGE AND SOLITARY

In the form of haters. Jealous people. The Broken Star and Separating Edge talks about the possibility of haters spreading rumours about you, rumours that could have a negative impact to your social standing and cause hindrances in your career path.

Essentially, just as you are getting ready to fly, these people get uncomfortable, because they have you pegged or profiled in a certain way Sometimes, when we grow, it causes discomfort to the people around us. It could be because our growth reminds them that they have stagnated, or more commonly, our growth has caused a cognitive dissonance within their heads. The person you have become, and the person they think you are… is now different. And it’s uncomfortable. But it’s their problem!

Allow them to affect you, and the consequences are not pretty. Allowing them to influence your action, you may shut yourself away or shy away from other people, thereby triggering the Solitary star. You are limiting yourself to fit other people’s perspective of you! It’s human to want to be liked. That’s how peer pressure work! But when you trigger the Solitary star… how then, to use the Sky Horse, Sky Gracious and Sky Fortune?

The biggest caution with the Separating Edge would be this: pay extra attention to your documentation. This star can signify problems or issues with documentation. So if you have a contract to sign, if you can afford it, hire a lawyer! Otherwise, read the fine print!

But we can’t stop people from talking, right? So, what’s to do? You don’t start! Don’t get involved in all the petty jealousies and meaningless rivalries, the games of one-upmanship. Because all these causes negativity which in turn, causes stress!

FUNERAL DOOR AND EARTH FUNERAL

These two, the Funeral Door and Earth Funeral, are illness stars. When these show up, the conventional advice is typically to not attend funerals. But in modern times, it’s usually a health warning. They can also point to the fact that your resistance to negativity is lower this year.

But let’s put other people aside for a minute. In all, when we put these together, you could potentially experience this cognitive dissonance within yourself, especially if the Snake is in your internal pillars – the Hour or the Day! You see the opportunity to grow, but there is resistance because it may not ‘fit’ with your image of who you are. No, I’m not talking about psychotic break! But if you are experiencing this, you need to work this through, either by figuring it out yourself, coaching yourself, talking to trusted friends and family or even a coach.

GREAT SHA

The biggest warning actually comes from the Great Sha, which carries a warning against gambling or speculative investments. So do be conservative, but make full use of the opportunities to stretch your influence.

SNAKE 2023: WHAT ARE WE BUILDING TOWARDS?

Keeping an eye on 2024, we are building a reputation, stretching your influence so that, come 2024, you will be able to access a better class of noble people. Is that enough encouragement for you?

How then, can we use all these stars for career growth? Here are two ideas:

Strategic Networking – making the conscious effort to connect with people who share our vision and can help us stretch our influence. This may entail being a nobleman to them!
Let’s give them something to really talk about! Since we can’t do much about the haters (coz haters will hate), why not wow them with our accomplishments? Since they are inclined to feel envy and jealousy, let those feelings be over something of substance.

SNAKE 2023: SUGGESTED BUSINESS CHECKLIST

As for the business owners, the presence of the Sky Horse, Sky Gracious and Sky Fortune is a good opportunity to undertake a small re-branding exercise with an eye to appeal to a different subset of your market.

The negative stars? Great to address common misconceptions about your business, to educate potential new customers.

SNAKE 2023: IN A NUTSHELL

If I may, I’d like to add to that, “Sometimes, we put ourselves into boxes, and it takes extraordinary courage to break free.”

WHERE IS YOUR SNAKE?

So where exactly are these opportunities? In which area of our lives can we stretch our influence? To know that, we need to find out where is the Snake in your Chart?

YEAR PILLAR

If the Snake falls in your Year, take this opportunity to broaden and enrich your network of contacts It could be people from other parts of the globe, or from other industries, other walks of life, other socio-demographic segments with different perspectives. It’s about Strategic Networking.

The Sky Horse cannot work unless you are in position to use it. You need to go out, be pro-active, and create the opportunity to stretch your influence. In the olden days, the Sky Horse shows up, and the poor dude basically ponies up and heads off to the next village 5 days away.

In today’s world, it’s easy to use the Sky Horse. Establish a presence on social media. Give value first, without expecting anything in return. The Snake is susceptible to the Ungrateful Punishment, which means, people may not appreciate what you do. So just give, consistently. Have patience, it takes time to build up momentum on social media.

MONTH PILLAR

If the Snake governs your Month pillar, one possibility for the career professionals is to increase your value within the organization by offering to spearhead new projects designed to reach a new market.

Similarly for business owners, one way to use these stars is to engage in a small re-branding exercise designed to, yes, again, reach a new market segment.

Remember, the stars in the Snake for 2023 talks about stretching your influence. We can’t guarantee you will earn a lot of money in 2023, but… if you successfully tap into the Sky Horse energy, there is money to be made.

DAY PILLAR

If your Snake is in your Day Pillar, your personal growth may have caused a cognitive dissonance with the people close to you. Could be your spouse, siblings, even parents maybe… close family members and friends. Suddenly, they don’t know how to deal with you anymore!

Most likely scenario? You had the Moon in 2022, and you had this great business idea! So in 2022, perhaps you started a side gig. And, I hope, it went well enough that you are now considering leaving your 9-to-5, to focus solely on this business. In many cases, especially in conservative Asian families, especially for women, this type of change may scare the living daylights out of your close family members.

Being aware of this can help you create strategies to educate them and maybe even bring them around to your point of view.

HOUR PILLAR

Apart from investments, the Hour Pillar also represents the value we create. Because it also represents our ideas and passions. With the Sky Horse here, it could mean that you may find yourself seeing opportunities for investment in other countries. Whether or not you are in position to take advantage of those opportunities will vary. Some of us can; some of us may not.

Another way to use these for the entrepreneur? Search for a different subset of the market that will find your new ideas appealing while maintaining the customer base for your regular products. Yes, this represents the opportunity to create a new stream of income. The only caution here – make sure your staff is ready to follow you. Otherwise, Broken Star and Separating Edge? Passive-aggressive resistance.

Reciprocity is the name of the game in 2023, if you have the Dragon in your Chart. Because you need to get ready to welcome, the most powerful Nobleman star of all!

DRAGON: 2022 RECAP

2022 for the Dragon was a lesson in emotional management, and like the Rat, it was about how you dealt with the limitations that we enforce on ourselves.

No denying, the Dragon has had a bad run of stars the last few years. But in all honesty, 2022 was just bad stars. Nothing was happening to the Dragon. No clash, or combination, or punishment, or destruction… nothin’!

Basically, there was no external support. In 2022, you had to be self-reliant and teach yourself how to deal with your own emotions.

THE DRAGON IN 2023

SKY EMPTINESS, SIX HARM AND BAD QI

The lessons in emotional management continue for yet another year. Why? Because while the decision to change comes in an instant, the process of change takes time!

Therefore, there is a need to manage your own expectations and emotional reactions on how much progress you have made. Basically, that learning process takes time! And well… the Dragon is nothing if not hard on yourself!

That’s the warning when the Sky Emptiness, Six Harm and Bad Qi come together. Together, they either create a sense of perpetual dissatisfaction at best, or form the experience of Learned Helplessness at worse, which can keep us stuck in a downward spiral.

The Sky Emptiness is the star of unrealistic expectations. Big Talk! Lofty ambitions! The Bad Qi warns of inertia and lethargy. When unrealistic expectations meets lethargy, logically, the results may not match up to your expectations. That’s when the Six Harm triggers, it’s a feeling of betrayal. When the Six Harm is activated, there is always a need to manage expectations – other people’s expectations, and more importantly, your own.

THE SUN AND PULLING SADDLE

But come 2023, there is hope, and there is help… in the form of one of the most powerful Nobleman stars – the Sun. The Sun is, as its name suggests, the Sun, up in the sky.

Let’s think a little about this idea of the Nobleman. See! There is a common misconception about the concept of the Nobleman. Many people think that someone comes along (maybe even riding a white horse), and fixes your life for you. But the reality is, nobody is coming to our rescue! In most cases, Nobleman help comes in the form of perhaps an advice, perhaps a contact, perhaps just a suggestion, or perhaps in the form of knowledge.

But how can we access this Nobleman star? The Pulling Saddle holds a clue. In the traditional interpretation, the Pulling Saddle represents rapid change that can bring positive luck. The operative word is ‘change’. Hence, there is a need to make the effort to change your status quo or perspective.

Therefore, to use a nobleman star requires us to be open to advice. We need to be paying attention! If we reject every suggestion given to us, sooner rather than later, the advice will stop. If we want help, are we helpable in the first place? Sometimes, these advices may sound unpleasant, but they may be what we need to hear.

DRAGON 2023: USE THE STARS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

But here comes the flip – the positive stars, the Sun in particular, has the power to diffuse all the rest of the negative stars.

To use the Sun to diffuse the negative stars, we need a shift of perspective. Instead of searching externally for the nobleman, let’s look inside ourselves and realize that we are the nobleman in our own lives. Which would you rather be – the one who has been blessed with the capacity to help others, or the one always in need of help?

Are we not blessed when we have the capacity to help others? The negative stars disappear when we give our help selflessly, and radiate warmth, optimism and hope like the Sun. It’s about triggering the laws of reciprocity. Reciprocity happens when we give freely so much and so often, without expectations, that others can’t help giving back. Share, teach, empower, and lift up others. It will come back around.

Care for a simple way to use the Sun? Think about the environment you create around you. Make a conscious effort to create a tension-free environment within your personal space. Do people walk on eggshells around you? Or do they leave your presence feeling light-hearted at least? In other words, are you pleasant to be with? So simple, yet so profound, right? Don’t forget, guys, next year is the Dragon’s turn as the Grand Duke.

DRAGON 2023: SUGGESTED CAREER CHECKLIST

Using the Dragon’s stars in 2023 for career development will require a mindful exercise in managing expectations. In other words, be mindful to never over-promise and under-deliver. Also, do keep your expectations realistic, grounded and real! Get clear on your desired outcomes and communicate exactly what you can contribute towards those goals.

DRAGON 2023: SUGGESTED BUSINESS CHECKLIST

For the business owners, here’s your chance to be a nobleman to your customers.

Customer complaints are great feedback to either improve our products and services or research. Look at what the market is saying about your competitors. Within those complaints are opportunities.

By tweaking your solutions to fit the problems, you effectively become a nobleman to your clients. Because in the eyes of a consumer, the one who can solve their problems really is a nobleman.

And who ever said nobleman help has to be free? Another misconception!

WHERE IS YOUR DRAGON?

So where exactly are these opportunities? In which area of our lives can we be a nobleman to others? To know that, we need to find out where is the Dragon in your Chart?

YEAR PILLAR

If the Dragon falls in your Year, the people in your social network or industry is searching for a noble person. Maybe it’s you?

Basically, there is the possibility of meeting two groups of people in 2023. The first group are optimistic, hard working, and hopeful people. The second group are maybe Qi-vampires who talk a big talk, but are constantly complaining. Your job, could be to help this group and encourage them to also help others instead of complaining.

Whether your goals are related to business, career or personal life, a lot of people are complaining out there. Go out, listen to what they are complaining about, and offer your solutions to them.

MONTH PILLAR

Likewise, if the Dragon governs your Month pillar, this Nobleman could likely come from someone connected with your work or career. It could be your boss, your peers, your colleagues, your clients, your suppliers. Remember, what do we need to do to use a Nobleman star? Yup! Pay attention!

For the Rabbit, 2022 was a year top-heavy with nobleman stars… and pretty much, only nobleman stars. Therefore, in a nutshell, success in 2022 boiled down to who you know, as opposed to what you know.

But that was 2022.

Here comes 2023, with fresh energies and the chance to ‘be boss’ for one year. And what a Grand Duke year it’s going to be!

THE RABBIT IN 2023

GRAND DUKE/DUKE’S ARRIVAL

As the Grand Duke for 2023, it’s a year for accomplishments!

Therefore, the questions to keep in mind are: 1) What am I showing the world? 2) Do I thrive under the spotlight? 3) Can I exhibit grace under pressure? 4) When thrust under the spotlight, do I step up or do I run into the nearest rabbit hole?

You see, in a Grand Duke year, the spotlight is literally on you, demanding that you step up to the plate and take action. You are called to be an over-achiever. There are decisions to be made, problems to tackle, and obstacles to dismantle… and everyone’s looking to you for solutions. But let’s stop calling them problems! It sounds so negative, doesn’t it? Instead, how about we call them ‘hidden opportunities’? Because the biggest accomplishments come when you successfully flip a crisis to your favour.

However, there are no problem-solving stars on the table. Which means that you have to do it yourself. However…

GENERAL STAR

While there are no problem-solving stars per se, you have the support of the General Star which conveys authority, as well as the opportunity to improve your social status. It does not promise a promotion. Instead, what it offers is the chance to prove your worth. Let’s put ourselves into the boots of a… captain in an army. This year, we may be presented with a chance to prove that we can become a General. To do that, we need to be resourceful, we need to show leadership, we need to be pro-active, we need to be a problem-solver. Job titles are empty. Have you ever encountered an organization where a staff member’s word has more authority than his or her actual supervisor? Promotion can come later. Grab the opportunity first!

GOLDEN LOCK

The General Star is further supported by the Golden Lock. Traditionally, this translates as an opportunity for businesses to own a certain market segment. From a career growth point of view, this can also be translated as the opportunity to be recognized as a talent in your chosen field.

BRIGHT HALL

So at this point, you’re probably thinking, that’s fine and good for those who have been in the industry for a while. But nobody knows me yet. Aha! Now we have the Bright Hall which is a star of awareness. It represents people becoming aware of you. It’s the star of the upcoming talent. Another way to use the Bright Hall? It sheds light on issues that you have been highlighting for the longest time.

Using the General Star, Golden Lock and Bright Hall effectively requires us to keep our energy levels up! The way we carry ourselves, and the energy we radiate as the Grand Duke, is important. If you are the shy and retiring type, going through a Grand Duke year may be a little stressful for you. But if you relish the chance to contribute more, there is a chance to break free from your plateau.

Which then begs the question: what could possibly trip us up?

No doubt, so much attention can be stressful! The Sky Cry is emotional in nature. Talk about over-active tear ducts! Jokes aside… the Sky Cry can affect how you view the ‘hidden opportunities’ presented by the Grand Duke. It could potentially create a scenario where you can’t see the forest for the trees, and effectively blinding you from looking beyond the problems to see the real potential of a given situation. To counter the Sky Cry, there is only awareness and a willingness to question our feelings. Questions such as, what am I not seeing? How can I turn this into my benefit?

Also, when there is emotional instability, the likelihood of arguments happening will increase. This is where the Sword Edge comes in. You may also be a little bit more accident-prone. This is a reminder to you to be more intentional with your words and actions.

HIDDEN CORPSE

The Hidden Corpse simply denotes potential hidden health issues. For your own peace of mind, do get your annual physical done. Pay some attention as well to mental wellness. With the Hidden Corpse and Sky Cry coming together, early symptoms of illnesses could manifest in the form of excessive or constant anger, anxiety or even panic attacks.

HEAVENLY NOBLEMAN

What about Nobleman luck? Will there be some level of support, at least? You certainly had plenty of powerful Nobleman stars in 2022. You have one. The Heavenly Nobleman is essentially a Wealth star. It’s a pretty minor Nobleman star, but activating this requires steady, hard work. It symbolizes your hard work being noticed.
